Thermography

Thermography is an integral part of any CBM program and is used for identifying both mechanical and electrical issues.  Thermography has the advantage of being a non-contact technique allowing key measurements to be taken in areas that are inaccessible or dangerous - such as electrical cabinets that need to be live for any temperature rises to be present.

Thermal measurements also have the advantage of measuring different temperatures across an asset in a single image as well as being a real time measurement which allows fast scanning of stationary targets.

Asset Condition Monitoring Ltd are able to to provide thermographic surveys for applications such as:

            • Electrical Cabinets
            • Mechanical Assets (motors, gearboxes, etc.)
            • Tanks & Vessels
            • Transformers
            • Furnaces
            • Buildings
            • ....and much more.

Providing there is a clear line of sight between thermographer and asset then a thermal image can be used to assess the condition of your mechanical / electrical assets to PREDICT mechanical failures, electrical fires, etc.
